SpaceCode SmartFridge knows - or is aware of - its contents continuously and instantaneously. SpaceCode RFID infrastructure integrated inside the fridge monitors movements and transactions of every single item in the fridge – be it device, specimens, blood, etc. The SmartFridge immediately knows when by who and for how long an item has been removed from or replaced back into the fridge. This information is recorded and stored as a full audit trail of all transaction pertaining to a specific product or products, and provided to the enterprise resource system. SpaceCode's SmartFridge imposes no contraints on the user or their processes, thus ensuring simple to use effectively without need to change processes. The SmartFridge is ideally suited to any cold chain products, including for example blood and related products.
